My Life as a Dog

I´m a dog. Or so I´m told by the Chinese Zodiac page :-D Well at least that means I´m loyal to my friends, root for the underdogs, and will do anything to protect my offspring. Good, good. That might also explain my love for the canines. Rummaging through old family photos I found this one of Xodó, my earliest partner in crime. I was probably trying to teach him some trick - that he never learned, by the way.

Oh, your sign is dog. I'm a tiger. all the signs are good but different.

I made a new posting as follows.

But I still don't know what I'm doing. It probably takes somethime to straighten up the place.

Is that your daughter? She is cute. Then again, maybe it is you when you were small.

That´s me, Keiko, when I was a little kid.
I visited your blog and tried to leave a comment, but couldn´t. It has happened with other blogs by other friends as well. I´ll have to find out what´s wrong...

Luciana,

I hope the problem disappear soon. I had difficulty creating my blog. I like yours, Rebb's, and Jitu's. I guess it's too late to change. Also the title of my site is blah. But I spent too much time for it, so I gave up.

I wish I know how to edit my comment. Is there a way? Anyway, I wanted to say, both you and the dog are slim and beautiful. You're lucky to have the photo. I don't and can't have a photo with a real tiger!

I agree, Keiko, you might end up being its lunch... :-D

My daughter 'nino' looked like you lu, when she was at age six.You look confident and brave in this pic.

Confident and brave yes, and pretty alert too: body language says that - wanting to impose your will on the dog, not sure if you can.

But tell us, can you remember the occasion, or ones like it?

Dr.J and Vincent, let´s just say Xodó and I learned to respect and trust each other... ;-D
I don´t remember the occasion, I remember Xodó, of course, and the farm where the picture was taken, by my uncle Eddie, who photographed most of my childhood.

What a precious photo, Lu! You are lucky your uncle Eddie photographed most of your childhood. My brother did the same. It’s nice to remember. Your photo makes me think of one my brother took of me and my dog. We were both yawning—or at least that’s what it looks like. I may post it if I don’t feel too shy.

I´d love to see that, Rebb!
