The last part of your poem, the narrator looks into his eyes, and she see herself reflected in his pupils and lick his face. Is that right?
I've learned Greek mythology from you and others. I have collected more than a few related books, but one of the most delightful ways to learn at something I'm not good at is like this, through our blogging.
Hi Keiko, sorry for the delay in my response. Well, Cronos is Time, and I´ve been giving time some thought lately. Part of turning 40, I think.;-) Parents and older family members gone, children growing up, and mixed feelings of love and hate with time. I could never have experienced so much and yet lost so much so far, had it not been by reaching the age I´ve reached, so yes, he´s my hunter, but I´ll lick his face in appreciation. :-)
Lu, When I read your poem, I feel the energy--the physical-ness and the hiding. I like how you show how the process can ebb and flow, and then there’s the surrender. I love the last lines.
I like finding a nice cave and feeling safe for a while too :)
Thanks, Lu, I’ll go have a look. Yes, isn’t it wonderful—greater appreciation for poetry—and the very act of appreciation for expression and how it mingles with everything. I’m always inspired by other’s, even if sometimes I don’t realize until after, but I was so glad to have clearly seen the connections this time and then share them.

More and more and more!
Rebb, you´re a dream reader, for your sensitivity is great! I left a link in your blog of a website I think you might like to take a look at... :-)
